WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright and bold, as is the back. There is a hint of bruising at the top edge of the back panel. The spine is unfaded, showing a touch of inconsequential bruising at the ends. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
BOOK : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean – and not toned ( a fault that commonly afflicts this title ). The closed page edges are sound the top edge is lightly flecked. There are no dog-eared or loose pages. The binding is solid with no cracked hinges. This copy has been SIGNED by Dick Francis to the title page. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
